Mustered in as a Private in Company G on 4 Jan 1864. Discharged with his Company. A member of Custer Post No. 6 of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington Territory. Transferred to Luther C. Ladd Post No. 17 of Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington Territory. Admitted to the Washington State Soldiers Home at Orting, Pierce County, Washington on 6 Nov 1909 and transferred to the Washington State Soldiers Home Colony at Orting, Washington on 17 Mar 1913. Died in Tacoma, Washington.
