Born in Canada. Enlisted in the 193rd New York Infantry for three years at Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York using the alias, David Mallory. Mustered in as a Private in Company K the same day he enlisted. Discharged at a hospital located at New Creek, Virginia. A member of Custer Post No. 6 of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Died in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington.
