Transferred to the 85th Company, 2nd Battalion, Veteran Reserve Corps on 13 Sep 1863. Promoted to Corporal. Mustered out at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A member of Custer Post No. 6 of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Died in Buckley, Pierce County, Washington. His pension records and death certificate spell his last name as "Lochridge".
